Today,  Sci-Fi Sunday for Oct Eleventh, we have a new featured segment, “Support Your Sci-Fi” In this feature, we’ll be looking at some of the fan-funded science fiction projects that are currently looking for supporters. First up, 5th Passenger, an original science fiction thriller feature film with cast members from Star Trek, Hellboy, Buffy and featuring a strong female lead. They are raising funds (via Indiegogo) for their visual effects and have provided a “Behind the Scenes” clip. Have a look, here.

For our Sci-Fi Sunday Screening today, we’ll be watching “Polis,” a short film by the legendary Steven Ilous and written by Daniel Perea. In Polis, A telepath is held prisoner in a government facility where technicians infiltrate his mind. Polis is an award winning “proof of concept” and is on its way to becoming a feature film.  To screen the film with us, just use the Sci-Fi Sunday menu (above) and select, Screenings and Features, then use the “Polis Menu,” or just click here.

We also have an two new additions to our Fun and Funnies segment, “A Character I used to know” (A Game of Thrones musical parody) and “Regeneration Carol” (A Dr. Who Christmas Musical treat) both by the talented artists at Not Literally Productions. In Ships and Space Battles we also have two videos for your viewing pleasure: “Stargate – The best space battles remake” (via: JaapVSWDelta) and we also have VideoSpaceFX’s “Star Trek Compilation.”
